It is with great pleasure that we invite you to HRA's 2026 Drama Production of The Imaginary Invalid by the 17th century French playwright, Moliere.
In this satirical farce, Mr. Argan, a severe hypochondriac, intends to marry his eldest daughter, Angelique, to an aspiring but awkward doctor in order to have the benefits of a family discount to cure his many "ailments". The family maidservant, however, is determined to see Angelique wedded to a more suitable man. Meanwhile, the stepmother will stop at nothing to see Angelique in a convent and herself the beneficiary of Argan's fortune.
Showtimes are Friday, January 30th; Saturday, January 31st, and Saturday, February 7th at 7pm at the Awaken Theatre.
