This fast-paced comedy features 3 men and 2 women portraying more than 100 gods, goddesses, heroes, monsters, and mortals from Greek mythology. With the clock ticking, the cast races through epic adventures, love stories, and legendary battles in just 99 minutes (or less).
The production will have six performances on September 10–11, 13, and 16–18, 2026.
Auditions are open to everyone and will consist of cold readings from the script. Those interested in reviewing the script beforehand may request a perusal copy by contacting the director Jessica Jolly at [email protected].
Regular rehearsals are expected to begin August 3.
Character Descriptions Below
Each actor will play 18-32 characters each.
M1 - The more mature and masculine of the 3 men. A feeling of authority and dignity will help this actor. Key roles are Zeus, Achilles, Old Nestor, and Perseus.
M2 - The more impulsive and eager of the 3 men. His emotional rawness and passion play large parts in his characters. Key roles are Odysseus, Hector, and Hera.
M3 - The goofiest and more carton-like of the 3 men. Natural comedic skills are a major plus for this actor playing so many different character parts. Key roles are Hermes, Man, Paris, Agamemnon, Diomedes, and Hercules.
F1 - The more mature of the 2 women. A solid actress with the ability to show wounded emotions and dignity. Key roles are Athena, Demeter, Patroklos, and the Oracle.
F2 - The more ingenue of the 2 women. Youthfulness is a help but she still plays older as well. Key roles are Aphrodite, Pandora, Helen of Troy, and King Priam.
