The HotBox Comedy Show

The HotBox was the first canna comedy event to be officially featured in the New York Comedy Festival, and has been taking over venues throughout New York for the past three years. With comedians whose credits include HBO, Netflix, Comedy Central, MTV, the Comedy Cellar, New York Comedy Club, The Stand, and more.

Think of the format as a late-night talk show with a dash of Inside the Actors Studio for comedians, plus a pinch of cannabis education. New York is the world’s cannabis consumption capital, so everyone has a great “stoner story” to tell, and we often highlight the local licensed brands for audiences to learn how to consume responsibly in the Big Apple. The show begins with a fantastic opening act, then I start hosting, and each comedian is introduced and interviewed by yours truly. As new players take the stage, they move down a chair until all comedians are riffing and laughing together, with plenty of audience interaction abounding.
