This year, the “Shades of Pride” Juneteenth Celebration unfolds as a vibrant 2-day Art and Music Festival celebrating the rich experiences of the Black and Brown LGBTQIA+ community in the Tampa Bay Region through Art, Culture, Music, and Panel Discussions. Day 1, Friday, June 14, 2024, sets the stage with a dynamic Prequel to Ballroom, featuring Poetry Slam and a Night Party. Day 2, Saturday, June 15, 2024, offers engaging panel discussions, captivating live musical performances, and culminates in the prestigious Honors Ball.
This inaugural Ball serves as a tribute to the diverse facets of Black Culture. Spearheaded by Yummy Xclusive-Lavin, it elevates the exhilarating culture of ballroom. The competition promises to showcase monumental talent across various domains including fashion, dance, film, and family dynamics. Renowned figures such as Kevin JZ Prodigy, the Up-and-Coming Legend Yummy XLanvin, and DJ Nightwing will lead the festivities. The event boasts an esteemed panel of judges, including the iconic Leiomy Miyake-Mulger as a special guest judge. The Honors Ball aims to recognize and celebrate the myriad communities within melanated culture.
Throughout the evening, the Honors Ball will present awards to individuals, with categories designed to pay homage to various facets of Black culture. It promises to be a night of glamour, talent, and heartfelt recognition, embodying the spirit of unity and celebration

Tonight, bring a pic of your inspired look from the 90s as you’ll be at the cookout as:
