Join us for a hands-on composting workshop in partnership with Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District at Ka-La Healing Garden Center. Learn how decomposers like worms, microbes, bacteria, and fungi work together to transform your food scraps and green waste into rich compost in your farm or garden —a powerful soil amendment that helps your plants and soil thrive.
**This event is outdoors on a working farm where you will be surrounded by nature. Ground and terrain may be uneven on the farm. We recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat.**
This workshop will take place rain or shine. In cases of extreme weather, we will contact you 24-36 hours prior to the event if we need to cancel.
