This unique overnight shelter challenge is designed to raise funds and awareness for Home Free Haven’s Winter Shelter Program. This is an opportunity to briefly step into the lives of those we serve and experience what it’s like to seek emergency shelter with Home Free Haven.
Participants will go through the same intake process as our home free guests, with personal belongings limited to 1 backpack per person. You’ll be provided with dinner and breakfast and sleep on cots, just as our guests do!
To take part in the challenge, each participant must raise a minimum of $100 by October 25th to cover their overnight stay! There are additional incentives for going above and beyond such as our home free t-shirts, home free candles, and a grand prize for the individual who raises the most funds!
Your participation directly supports our mission to provide shelter, support, and hope to our unhoused neighbors across the Shoals. 💚
