Gay Hendriksen is currently the President, of Parramatta Female Factory Friends and Coordinator of the Friends Research Centre. Gay has over 36 years of experience working in museums in the regional gallery context including Penrith Regional Gallery, Norman Lindsay Gallery and Parramatta Heritage Centre. She is a writer and researcher with a passion for female history and convict women’s history in particular.
