Please join us to support the Equality Community Center, Maine’s first and only LGBTQ+ and social justice-focused community hub providing a safe haven and support for marginalized communities across the state. The Holiday Rainbow Affair will be a celebration of our major accomplishments since our founding in 2015, and all funds raised will help ensure a sustainable future of programming and operations for the Center.

Your support of The Holiday Rainbow Affair will help us to:
-break ground on Maine’s first affordable housing complex for LGBTQ+ older adults
-finish renovations at our new home in downtown Portland
-develop new, dynamic, and impactful programs to support the most marginalized in our community, including but not limited to LGBTQ+ youth and elders, trans and non-binary folks, immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers, and BIPOC Mainers.
-sustain the operations of the Center which provides quality office, meeting and event space for 16 LGBTQ+ and allied social justice-focused non-profit organizations and community programs.
