Join us at Space in Evanston for a special stripped-down storytellers set of The Hold Steady songs covering a cross-section of the catalog.Please Note: There is a delivery delay on all ticket orders until approximately two weeks prior to the show.______Formed in 2003, The Hold Steady have released nine albums, numerous singles and have played over a thousand shows. The Brooklyn-based band has performed in all 50 states in the USA and throughout Canada, Europe and Australia. The Hold Steadys music has appeared in movies, advertising and TV, including on Game Of Thrones and Billions. In addition, the band has written original material for the Seth Meyers cartoon The Awesomes and Meyers 2019 stand-up special Lobby Baby.In 2023 The Hold Steady released their ninth studio LP, The Price Of Progress, to immense critical acclaim, while also releasing a book chronicling their first 20 years as a rock band. The Gospel of The Hold Steady: How A Resurrection Really Feels is an oral history written by journalist Michael Hann, featuring essays from authors Isaac Fitzgerald, Rob Sheffield and others, and included over 40 contributions from fans around the world.2024 has already seen The Hold Steady sell out their annual three-show The Weekender in London in March, with shows scheduled for Toronto (May 2-4), Melbourne, Australia (May 24-26), Seattle (May 30-June 1), Washington D.C. (June 20-22), Denver (August 22-24) and Atlanta (October 3-5). The North American shows are part of the bands annual Constructive Summer live multi-night weekends.The Hold Steady will also perform at the inaugural Minneapolis Yacht Club Festival July 20 in the Twin Cities and will finish the year with the annual Massive Nights celebration at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY December 4-7.The Hold Steady is: Bobby Drake (drums), Craig Finn (vocals), Tad Kubler (guitar, vocals), Franz Nicolay (keyboards, vocals), Galen Polivka (bass), and Steve Selvidge (guitar, vocals).
