About this Event
Birthwork is ancestral, spiritual, political, and an act of activism and love. Come learn about the history of doulas and midwives within the U.S. and how they have historically benefitted birthing people, with some highlights on how this work has looked like here in Colorado from a full-spectrum community doula, Karen Sandoval. Karen Sandoval is the owner of Plantita Soul LLC and has worked as a doula in the community for over 2 and a half years.
