The Thorold Community Market will host a Season Opener on June 17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continue every Wednesday evening all summer long until August 26. There will be a Grand Finale on Saturday, September 5 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. A big thank you to all of our sponsors who make this event possible.
This is a free event located in Battle of Beaverdams Park. There is a licensed patio, fresh local produce, food vendors, artisans and live music. Joining us Wednesday evenings will be the Thorold BIA Classic Car Show.

Darryl Aspin of Hitcher fame made his mark captivating audiences in the Durham Region with his strong vocal ability and high-energy performances. Behind Darryl is a band of talented musicians, including guitarist Mike Rewegen, drummer Seth McNamara, firefighter and bassist Stephen Reid, and on lead guitar, Mike Marinuk - after six years as a founding member of another Ontario Hip tribute - now showcasing his abilities with performances identical to the albums and live recordings.
Drawing on his experience in previous projects, Mike has also helped shape a concert experience that goes beyond the music itself, adding a visual element that deepens the connection to the songs.
For many, The Tragically Hip was the ultimate live band. Their music carried an energy and presence that could only be felt in person. The goal is to bring a little of that feeling back, along with the memories we all share.
