About this Event

Join us for the HEY Patch Winter Solstice Celebration on the 10th of July, 6:30PM - 8PM at Hawthorn Early Years.

This family-friendly evening will celebrate the winter season, bringing our community together to embrace the magic of the longest night of the year. Families are invited to slow down, connect, and enjoy a range of cosy experiences inspired by nature and the changing season.

Families can enjoy:

• Winter warming food – enjoy a delicious soup station and hot drinks.
• Twilight Torch Trail – children will be invited to explore the gardens after dark, using torches to discover hidden surprises along the way.
• Hands-on gardening – help us plant seedlings in the HEY Patch as we prepare our winter garden.
• Music & atmosphere – enjoy music and a relaxed evening with our HEY community.
• Community connection – bring a picnic rug, blanket, and warm clothing as we gather together under the winter sky.
• Firepit experience – weather and conditions permitting.
