The Heirloom Room Presents... at NYC Jewelry Week 2026
About this Event
Come experience The Heirloom Room, a multi-pronged community-based workshop for seniors designed by Rosario Moore (aka Rocio Ines of RIMA JEWELS) generated by her commitment to social practice and interest in folk expression. In collaboration with LMCC's SU-CASA program, The Heirloom Room is approaching its fifth year and many of its alumni will be in attendance, their jewelry pieces on display. Moore will talk about how she interweaves poetry and lost wax jewelry-making for her students and lead the audience in some poetry prompts.
