The Heaven Spot

​​Boston’s neighborhood has been undergoing many changes in the last several years that has had an impact on the nature of the community as it relates to the many artist communities that have called Boston home since the 60’s. Musician practice spaces, affordable late night gathering places, artists studios, have all become wildly inaccessible or foster more negatively competitive environments. The Heaven Spot will be an event that celebrates the history of street culture and reignites ways of communicating with one another through culture and passion. Cypher’s are an extremely effective way to generate fun and inviting environments for those to interact with each other and build community. Boston is encouraged to come look at the artwork, share dance styles, listen to cultivating music, and feel supported. One of the reasons we’ve created this event is to step outside of the club that is mixed with drugs, petty behaviors, and messy nights; dance studios are expensive, sterile, and inaccessible. The Heaven Spot is the perfect place to get away from that and focus on the art.
