For thousands of years, drumming has been at the heart of healing, connection, meditation, and even divination. Across cultures and continents, people have gathered around the beat of the drum to transform their lives and connect to Spirit.

Now, it’s your turn to experience the magic for yourself! 🙌

Join us for 4 incredible weekly workshops where you’ll explore the power of frame drumming and hand drumming — no experience needed!

We provide frame drums and shakers on a first-come, first-served basis, or you can bring your own. ✨

Course Facilitator:

Rufus Glassco is a trilingual facilitator who blends sound and nature to help individuals of all ages connect, learn, and heal. Through his company, Sound Benefits, he specializes in experiential learning and healing, offering Drum Circles focused on health and wellness, along with Sound Healing, Community Singing, Forest Bathing, and Shamanic Coaching. His work brings both individuals and groups into a space of relaxation, resonance, and harmony.

A passionate songwriter and guitarist since the early 1990s, Rufus completed Community Choir Leadership Training in Victoria, BC, in 2019, just months before the pandemic. During this time, he founded Sacred Song Circles, an online community choir that he started in response to the global crisis. He is also a founding member of the Toronto chapter of the Threshold Choir, which offers support to those preparing to cross the threshold at the end of life.

Rufus and Ciara co-facilitated Unity Sings in the Spring of 2025, and he also led Druminity at the studio at that time.  The Unity Studio is  thrilled to have him back this Fall for both Awaken with the Frame Drum (Tuesdays 8.30-10pm) & Sing for Peace (Wednesdays 7pm - 9pm)

Rufus released Leo Rising, his debut studio album in the summer of 2025.  Available to hear at https://rufusbarnabyglassco.bandcamp.com/album/leo-rising
