About this Event
The Healing Healers Circle
A Community Healing Experience for Those Impacted by Gun Violence and Vicarious Trauma
Sunday, June 28, 2026 | 2:00 PM–4:00 PM
Pauline's Apothecary | Charlotte, NC
In recognition of Gun Violence Awareness Month, join us for an intimate afternoon of grounding, reflection, and restoration at The Healing Healers Circle.
This healing-centered gathering is designed for survivors, healers, caregivers, advocates, service providers, and community members impacted by gun violence and vicarious trauma. Together, we will slow down, breathe, and reconnect through healing conversations, grounding practices, creative reflection, and community care.
Too often, those who support others carry the weight of grief, trauma, and responsibility without a space to tend to their own healing. This gathering was created as an opportunity to pause, be held in community, and reconnect with yourself and others who understand the impact of violence.
The afternoon will begin with tea, light refreshments, grounding music, and an opportunity to contribute to a community altar. Together, we will set intentions, participate in a guided meditation and libation, and move into a healing-centered "Choose Your Need" experience where participants can engage in conversations and resource sharing around topics such as nervous system healing, community care after violence, grief and identity, and rebuilding trust while honoring loved ones.
Participants will also be invited to contribute to a collective community canvas, walk a guided labyrinth, and take part in a closing ritual and affirmation as we reflect on our shared experiences and hopes for healing.
Our hope is that you leave feeling lighter, more grounded, seen, supported, connected to community, and equipped with tools and resources to sustain your healing and prevent burnout.
Space is intentionally limited to 20 participants to support meaningful connection and care.
