The 2026 Havre de Grace Ice Festival will take place in beautiful downtown Havre de Grace AND at The STAR Centre. This year's theme is "There's No Place Like Home"
With over 50 enchanting ice sculptures crafted by The Ice God to set the mood throughout the downtown area, you will find lots to do and see, including live ice-carving demonstrations, a chili cook-off, outdoor hot toddy garden, live performances, character meet & greets, corn hole boards made of ice, fire pits, s'mores station, in-store specials, and more! You can even try your hand at ice sculpting by carving your name into our graffiti wall of ice or play ping pong on a table made of ice!
Our ice sculptures will bring your imagination to life. AND you can vote for your favorite! Ballots are available the day of the event at the STAR Centre, Hot Toddy Bar, and at the Havre de Grace Visitor Center. Everyone who votes is entered into a drawing for a chance to win prizes! Turn in your ballots at any of the above areas or use one of the ballot boxes on our trolleys.
WARM UP AT THE STAR!
Our beloved STAR Centre will host activities for kids, merchandise vendors, learning experiences, crafts, giveaways, and Extreme Raptors shows complete with live animals! In the evening, enjoy The ALL NEW Wizard of Oz on Ice at the STAR Centre! Pop in and warm up before heading back downtown to enjoy the outdoor ice festivities.
Food trucks will be located in front of The STAR Center and downtown at the bottom of Pennington Avenue.
***Trolley transportation between downtown and The STAR will be provided free of charge!***
***This event is free to the public; however, tickets are sold for the Chili Tasting, the s'mores station, Extreme Raptors,a nd Wizard of Oz on Ice all at STARCENTREMD.COM ***
S'more kits are $3 each or 2 for $5 while supplies last. The Smores Station is located on Pennington Avenue at Washington Street. There are no advance sales.
