The Haunted Wood: Halloween at the Library

Have a scare if your dare! Bring your littles and not-so-littles to the library for our Halloween takeover where the Children’s Floor will abound with Grimm fairytale frights (and delights)! Step into our haunted fairy woods (the Children’s floor, that is) -  with several easy craft stations, a trick-or-treat stop on the library plaza, and A Dark, Dark, Room - a haunted room experience with not-too-scary scares. Stop by anytime throughout the day between 11am and 5 p.m.!

Visit the Montclair Public Library for our Haunted Woods themes Halloween celebration. Bring your little one to our welcome station in our 1st floor Lobby for a goody bag and trick for trick or treating at the Library and beyond! 

Schedule:

3rd floor Children’s Room Opens at 11 am!

• 11am-12pm - Balloon Ghost Craft and Balloon Scarecrow Fun Tent (Plaza - Lobby if Rain)

• 11am-12:30pm - Make a Scary Mask Craft with the Montclair State University Horror Club (3rd floor Children’s Room)

• 12-1pm - Spooky Stories with Ms. Enola (3rd floor Green Room)

• 1-4:30 pm - Squeegee Ghost Crafts & Make Silhouette Puppets for Your Own Flashlight Puppet Show (3rd floor Green Room)

• 1-5:30 p.m. - In A Dark, Dark Room: Immersive Scary Story - Limited Space, Every 30 mins. Don’t be late! (3rd floor Storyroom)
