This program explores the darker side of the piano repertoire, from the solemn weight of Chopin’s Marche Funèbre to the demonic energy of Liszt’s Funérailles, the hypnotic mysticism of Scriabin’s Black Mass Sonata, and the relentless drive of Prokofiev’s Toccata. Each work evokes a different shade of darkness—grief, fury, obsession, and the supernatural.

Surrounded by flickering candlelight, audiences can expect an immersive, almost theatrical experience where sound and atmosphere blur, and the piano becomes a voice for the uncanny. This is not just a recital—it is a descent into the shadows of the Romantic and modern imagination.
