About this Event
The Harpoonist is Shawn Hall, a harmonica-driven blues-rock force known for his decades in the trenches and his 17-year run with Matt Rogers in The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer. His latest chapter, Did We Come Here to Dance, is a Texas-recorded album released on Tonic Records, made with Big Sugar’s Gordie Johnson as producer and key musical collaborator, and built on gritty swamp blues, soul, funk, and rock-and-roll edge.
Opening the night is Edmonton’s own Leo Martinez & The Backline.
