The Halo Programme - Finale Showcase - July 2024

Over 10 weeks, five fantastic founders from local Norfolk start-ups have worked through all aspects of getting investment ready.

The Finale Showcase is their chance to put all of their hard work into action as they deliver their pitches to a panel of expert judges and angel investors.

Companies

Bioscopic - a pharmaceutical start-up, currently spinning out of the Quadram Institute, which isolates therapeutic compounds from beneficial microbes. The current focus in oncology, where they are developing a new type of immunotherapy compound against breast cancer.

UpnMellow - a premium vegan brand that makes luxury ready-to-eat nut porridges. The products are highly nutritious as sources of protein and/or fibre, delicious and easy to prepare. 100% vegan, dairy free, organic and handmade

AAH Software - AAH Software Limited is an East Anglian based business with specialisms in local and cloud hosted software as a service (SaaS), web and mobile applications, software maintenance and development and database driven systems for research, studies and clinical trials.

Plant Intellifence - Providing a scalable, modular approach to creating growing environments for consumers and commerce.

EXO Engineering - helps maritime clients to achieve sustainability targets by enhancing offshore infrastructure with nature inclusivity. For example, they work with global offshore wind developers with overcoming obstacles from Environmental Impact Assessments by enhancing their scour protection and cable protection to house habitat opportunities on the seabed.
