THE GRUESOMES (Mtl Garage Rock Legends)
Formed in Montreal in 1985, The Gruesomes quickly made their mark with their debut LP Tyrants of Teen Trash on the legendary underground label OG Records. Their late 80s singles “Way Down Below” and the Monkees-inspired “Hey!” received heavy rotation on MuchMusic, cementing their place in Canada’s garage-rock scene. Four decades later, they continue to make noise with the release of The Dimension of Fear (2025).
