Join Clarke Otten, local historian, as he recounts the evolution of Sandy Springs from a struggling agricultural area, to a summer playground for wealthy Atlantans, to a suburban bedroom community. Local historian Clarke Otten, is the recipient of Sandy Springs Society’s “Spirit of Sandy Springs” award, served on the board of Friends of Lost Corner and worked extensively with Heritage Sandy Springs.
