GROUNDING YOGA & MEDITATION WORKSHOP

Grounding gives you a sense of connection to the earth both physically and spiritually. This class is infused with gentle movement, breath, and deep rest with the ultimate goal of opening your body and calming your mind. No experience needed—start where you are and do what you can. Just bring yourself and a yoga mat!

**This workshop is a program of "The Ground Beneath" a group art exhibition(7/1-8/26) at the Petshop Gallery in Benson located in Omaha, Nebraska.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

“THE GROUND BENEATH” HIGHLIGHTS THE BEAUTY OF AND SIGNIFICANT ROLES OUR FEET PLAY IN OUR JOURNEYS

The exhibition “The Ground Beneath”, explores feet as a subject of beauty. Challenging

the traditional views of the subject, curator Jared Spence and his featured artists zoom in on the

important role feet play in carrying people on their journeys while also magnifying the

unconventional beauty of a part of the body that is often hidden.

Currently on view at the Petshop Gallery in Benson through August 26, 2022, “The

Ground Beneath” features an array of media, installations and videos from 17 artists

working in Omaha, Denver, Chicago, Atlanta and Portland. These artists create an

opportunity to uncover feet and their stories.
