I am contacting people to share my excitement for an event being held September 16th through the 18th, 2022 in Atlanta, GA. It’s called “The Grind,” which stands for Graceful Recovery: Inspiring New Destinies.
It is a pioneering annual conference celebrating the support and growth of the global recovery community. Our communities have been built via social media, societies, and other institutions. The intention is to gather these global communities together to inspire and share our solutions to overcome addiction through fellowship and education.
I am asking for your support to help sponsor this event and reach those who are suffering from alcoholism and/or addiction (as well as those who have been affected by it). Before contributing, please take a moment to visit The Grind website: https://thegrindconvention.com/ .
Although we are awaiting non-profit status approval, we have a nationally recognized fiscal sponsor for this event, which permits all donations to be tax deductible.
Our event is limited to 300 in-person attendees at the Doubletree by Hilton in Atlanta/Marietta. However, we are also offering attendance to this conference virtually on a digital platform that can serve hundreds (or more) that seek to be a part of this event.
Our goal is to raise funds that will allow us to present and preserve The Grind in its entirety. To be a resource for change, inspiration and support to people in recovery as well as their families and friends.
I hope that you find value in our vision to serve this community. In recovery, communication is our superpower. If we can share our experience, strength and hope which results in saving just one life, our efforts are priceless.
