About this Event
The Green Thread for SF Spouses - Morning Cohort
Cultivating connection, fostering resilience, and supporting the families behind the mission
MORNING COHORT
Special Forces spouses are invited to join The Station Foundation and Special Forces Foundation in a year-long community experience designed to strengthen connection, identity, and emotional resilience. Participation is flexible; spouses may attend any session or event that feels supportive, with no obligation to commit for the full year. Through storytelling, reflection, and shared practice, the community creates space to explore what it means to thrive within the demands of SF life while connecting with others through authenticity, care, and mutual support.
The Green Thread meets once a month, with each event posted individually. Participants may register for any session that fits their schedule, with no obligation to attend every month.
Morning Cohort: 10:00–11:30 AM at Third Space Café
6:00–7:30 PM /COS City Hub/ Separate sign-in Eventbrite page)
Each month’s gathering will offer a guided reflection, storytelling exchange, and character-based discussion focused on themes of growth, balance, and community. We hope that these facilitated conversations will create space for honest dialogue and connection among spouses who understand the SF experience. Light refreshments and all materials are provided.
At the end of each quarter, both cohorts come together for an experiential capstone event designed to bring the quarter’s themes to life through shared activity. Participation in the capstone is open to those who have attended at least one deep-dive session that quarter, ensuring a shared foundation that allows the experience to translate discussion into meaningful practice and deepen the sense of community built throughout the year.
Through this series, participants will:• Reflect on personal values and shared experiences within SF life• Strengthen identity and confidence through storytelling and discussion• Build practical tools for resilience and emotional well-being• Form lasting connections with peers who understand the journey
What to Expect:• Monthly gatherings guided by a trained facilitator and guests• Two cohort options (morning or evening) for flexible attendance• Quarterly capstone experiences for hands-on connection• Small group size to encourage trust and authentic conversation• Light refreshments and materials provided
This is a year-long program that runs from January to December 2026. Enrollment opens in December 2025 through Eventbrite. To ensure the best experience for all participants, we ask that you attend your selected cohort consistently and commit to the capstone gatherings. Space is limited to keep discussions meaningful.
Childcare is not available for this event, and children may not attend. Thank you for respecting this policy and creating a space free of distractions.
We’d love to have you with us! If you plan on attending, please reserve your spot through Eventbrite so we can plan thoughtfully for your arrival, from seating and supplies to the coffee and small touches that make these gatherings special.
There is a separate Eventbrite sign-up for Morning and Evening cohorts.
