The Green Fayre returns to Beacon Country Park in Up Holland on July 20 and 21, 2024 (11am to 5pm).
The free, family-friendly event at the 300-acre park will include a programme of live shows and displays and visitors can browse stalls and exhibits highlighting West Lancashire’s rural heritage and landscapes, traditional crafts and countryside living.
They include:
*Working woodlands, where visitors can witness local skilled craftsmen and artisan experts demonstrate traditional and unusual techniques, such as leather-working, weaving, bodging and chain-saw carving
*A range of wildlife and animal welfare charities offering tips and advice
*Alongside dog agility, there will be birds of prey demonstrations and a Viking battle re-enactment at outdoor arena
Food and drink stalls also available, along with other family-focused activities.
