IT IS OFFICIAL AND YOU ARE INVITED!!!!!For the first time in APNH history, we are throwing a ball! And it is not just any ball, it is The Greater New Haven Visibility Ball!
With the helping hands of Xiomarie LaBeija, Stout Tisci, and Kemar Jewel, APNH will be hosting its first ball to commemorate and uplift our black and brown community in the name of Ballroom.
Find us on June 9th from 6pm-10pm at Whitneyville Cultural Commons (1253 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT) for this amazing event. There will be food, non-alcoholic beverages, entertainment, free HIV/STI testing, and so much more. We have 5 categories with each having its own Cash Grand Prize and trophy.
Our Master of Sounds will be CT’s one and only DJ Edgewood.
Our Commentator is the founder of OTA NYC the Legendary Leggoh JohVera.
Now time to introduce our 5 beautiful judges. Our first judge is an up and coming force in the name of Vogue Fem, we introduce Kuresha LaBeija. Our second judge is a CT Legend making her name as the Mother of Exodus, we introduce Cheena Exodus. Our third judge has been seen on the amazing documentary Kiki and on HBO Max “Legendary”, we introduce the “King of Dramatics” Legendary Divo Ebony. Our fourth judge is very well known throughout the state of CT for the amount of love and work they put into the community. Introducing the Mother of the House of Placer, Mucha Mucha Placer. Our final judge can be seen teaching vogue throughout the world, but you can also find them on the hit tv show “Pose”, I introduce Jason 007.
