Our biggest and most beloved FREE event is back!Thanks to our sponsor, Mars Wrigley, we are proud to host the Great Paper Airplane Fly-Off here at Pima Air and Space Museum.
Here's how it works:
Each contestant will compete by building and throwing their paper airplane. The farthest throw wins! The top three from each age group will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Grand prize for each age group is worth around $300. Each contestant in the individual competition can bring up to 4 guests for free plus complimentary lunch and raffle opportunities.
Age brackets:
6-8 years
9-11 years
12-14 years
Family Contest:
Each family must have at least one adult age 18 or over and at least one child between the ages of 5 and 17.
Up to 7 people may participate per family.
Individual competitors may also be a part of the family contest.
Note: The Family bracket is currently full. You may sign up to add your family to the waitlist. If a spot opens up, you will be notified via email that you are able to register.
