We are BACK for another year with The Great Interior Pumpkin Drop & Fly-In at Sky Ranch Airport (95Z) on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and YOU’RE INVITED for our most loved aviation event in the interior. (Yep, as organizers, we get to be biased!)
There's nothing quite like fall in Alaska... especially when pumpkins are falling from airplanes. Whether you're coming for the flying, the food, the music, or dare-i-say: the hats (!!!), or just a fun day with family and friends, we hope to offer something for everyone, and we can't wait to welcome you back to our space for one of North Pole's favorite fall traditions.
Admission remains FREE - instead we encourage you to support and tip your vendors and donate to all the local organization spending their Saturdays supporting us.
Gates open at 12PM to music, food, activities, and pilot registration. Earliest possible start time is 2:00PM.

* Fly-In Camping open from Friday, September 25th - Monday, September 28th
* Featuring music by local Fairbanks musicians
* Come hungry and support your local food trucks!
* Family-friendly games and activities will be available
* BYOC - BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS!
* Please plan to carpool if you can - we appreciate you helping make space for all!
* No pets permitted (I know, it makes us sad too, but help us keep everyone safe and leave your furry friends at home!)
Drop Details for Pilots //
* BYOP - BRING YOUR OWN PUMPKIN! x3 — or don't! A huge THANK YOU to Kinross Alaska for being our pumpkin sponsor again this year!
* Altitude for the drop will be 200 AGL
* Registration starts at 12PM - mandatory safety briefing to follow. First possible drop start time is 2:00PM. Advanced registration will be available and posted here in the coming weeks.
