Live storytelling is returning to Hartford in 2021! Get ready, Hartford-area storytellers! Speak Up, and The Mouth-Off, and Tell Me Another are coming together again to present another Great Hartford Story Slam. Join producers Matthew and Elysha Dicks, Chion Wolf, and Terry Wolfisch Cole at Hartford Flavor Company for an evening of stories around the theme "Upside Down."
Ten storytellers will get to vie for the glory. Come ready to share your five minute story. Drop your name in the hat and have a go.
Tickets are only $15 plus tax and fees. Don't delay. Get yours today. This event is sure to sell out, and only a very limited number of SRO tix will be available at the door on a cash-only, first-come basis when the box office opens.
How are we going to do this? Carefully!
As of early June, we're planning on holding the event outdoors if possible. If we need to move inside, we'll remain at 50% of the venue's capacity. Please bring your own chairs. Wear your mask unless you're sitting with your pod or you're at the microphone, including when you approach the bar or go to the restroom. Sanitize your hands before and after leaving your seat. And, most important, stay home if you're not feelng well. More details will be provided in your confirmation email after purchase.
While Hartford Flavor Company serves the best cocktails in town, they do not offer a food menu. You are welcome to bring some snacks or your dinner to the show.
