The Great Easter Egg Hunt - 20243rd Annual - The Great Easter Egg Hunt
**THIS IS A FREE EVENT FOR THE COMMUNITY *******
Normandy High School Alumni c/o 87' , Prince Hall Shriners and Prince Hall Daughters Auxiliary are hosting their 3rd Annual Great Easter Egg Hunt which is a great event for children and the community. It brings the magic of Easter to those who don't have the freedom to go outside to celebrate.
As you search the park for eggs and chocolate, not every hiding spot is going to reveal a treasure. As obstacles are uncovered, they have to be avoided complicating your path through the park, home and to victory.
This family friendly event will be held Saturday March 23rd at Vinita Park (Yeoman Location) next to City Hall promptly at 12:00 Noon on the Athletic Field! ( If rain occurs we will move egg hunt to top of park off the athletic field)
The Hunt will feature a variety of colorful plastic eggs filled with wrapped candy, coins and special prizes. The Easter Egg Hunt activities are for all school age children from Pre-K - High School.
The Easter Bunny will be making a guest appearance at 12:00 o'clock sharp so don’t forget your baskets! Roy's Digital Photography will be onsite to capture the kids beautiful smiles and special moments . Printed photos available with a $5 donation . Portion of the proceeds from the pictures will go towards the College Scholarship funding for Normandy High School Graduates
There will also be onsite vendors for those interested in shopping before or after the event. And don't forget to grab a bite to eat with our display vendors. Each of these vendors are sponsors of this fabulous event and have generously made donations to help make this event possible.
In order to make this a safe event that families will be comfortable attending, some health and safety precautions have been implemented:
-This is a FREE community event, pre registration is NOT mandatory but recommended for all attendees age 12 and under planning to participate in the egg hunt.
-Attendees are asked to be conscientious about practicing social distancing as much as possible. The event will be spreaded out over a larger area to help with social distancing.
-Hand sanitizer will be provided and placed in multiple areas throughout the park.
Masks are NOT mandatory but highly recommended for all attendees 5 years of age and older. Please bring your own.
