November 25th, 2026, marks the 50th anniversary of one of the most celebrated concerts in music history.
On November 25, 1976, The Band took the stage at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco for their legendary farewell concert, The Last Waltz. Fifty years later, on the exact anniversary of that historic performance, The Great Canadian Last Waltz comes to Kelowna Community Theatre for a special one-night celebration.
The Great Canadian Last Waltz honors the timeless music of The Band while shining a spotlight on the rich tradition of Canadian-made original music that continues to shape our culture.
This powerful production brings together an all-star cast of award-winning artists, legendary musicians, and acclaimed songwriters who proudly call Canada home. Spanning generations and musical genres, these performers are united by a common bond—the music itself, the community it creates, and the unforgettable songs it inspires.
