Twilight Jubilee – Event Description
Celebrate summer, community, and America’s 250th anniversary at the Twilight Jubilee, a free, family‑friendly evening hosted by the Reno County Museum. This small‑town celebration brings together the best parts of Hutchinson life — neighbors gathering, kids playing, music drifting through the park, and a shared appreciation for the freedoms and traditions that shape our community.
From 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Walnut Street, Pyle Park, and the museum grounds will come alive with food, vendors, games, music, and patriotic programming. Guests can enjoy vintage carnival games, mini golf, yard games, kids’ activities, a curated vendor area, and delicious offerings from local food and beverage trucks.
At 6:00 PM, the Daughters of the American Revolution will present a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, followed by a Flag Ceremony led by the Sons of the American Revolution — a meaningful moment honoring the history, service, and sacrifice behind the liberties we enjoy today.
This year also features the All American Car Show, organized in partnership with KS4VETS.
All wheeled vehicles are welcome, and there will be prizes for the most patriotically decorated entry. Drivers who participate receive front‑row parking for the evening.
The Twilight Jubilee is designed to feel like the best parts of small‑town summer — relaxed, nostalgic, and full of community pride. Bring your family, bring your friends, and enjoy an evening that celebrates who we are and what we share.
Join us June 27th from 5–8 PM at the Reno County Museum.
