DIRE WOLF: Out of the pandemic, a Dire Wolf was born in Athens, Georgia. Lifelong musicians within several different facets of life came together to form a tribute to their favorite band, the Grateful Dead. Dire Wolf’s aim is to bring Dead tunes to life for their listeners through the energy and camaraderie that was inspired by Jerry, Bobby, Phil, Mickey, Billy, Pigpen (and Brent). Come hop on the bus and enjoy the ride with us!

PEACH ICE CREAM BLUEGRASS: Just some Athens friends pickin’ folky/country/bluegrassy tunes out in the sunshine. Tune in for some good vibes.

CANNON ROGERS & THE 420 UNIT: Cannon Rogers is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Northwest Georgia. Based in Athens since 2018, Rogers is a touring member of the psychedelic folk group Susto, and has played with artists like Cracker, Kevn Kinney and lighthearted as of late. Rogers holds a degree in English from the University of Georgia and recently started releasing his own southern gothic tinged tunes, starting with "Abel's Blues" in May of 2024. He enjoys listening to Sticky Fingers by the Rolling Stones, and getting stoned.

The Little Country Giants are a husband and wife songwriting duo (Russell Cook on guitar & Cameron Federal on upright bass) playing folk, bluegrass, country, swing, and rural blues living in Rome, Georgia.
“Unapologetically Appalachian and unashamed in sadness, the Cooks’ songwriting preserves the poetry of a disappearing rural America,” said David Eduardo of Flagpole Magazine

THE HOWDIES: The Howdies are an Athens, GA-based band bringing a fresh take on honkytonk with a scrappy, heartfelt sound. Rooted in classic country storytelling and infused with the freewheeling spirit of their hometown, they blend twangy guitar licks, rustic grooves, and barstool philosophy. Led by songwriters Austin Darnell and Shoni Rancher, the band formed during backyard guitar pulls and late-night whiskey-fueled conversations. With a lineup of seasoned local musicians, The Howdies channel the camaraderie of Athens' music scene into every song. Their debut album, Howdies All Around, produced by David Barbe and T. Hardy Morris, captures their raw energy and soulful songwriting—a tribute to friendship, perseverance, and the love of making music.

THE SPEAKS: Three Athens raised boys surrounded by all genres of music blend their influences of blues, classic and psychedelic rock to create their own sound. They express themselves through original music as well as their own takes on old classics.

DYLAN LESTER: Dylan Lester is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter hailing from Rome, GA. His music weaves together elements of bluegrass, folk and his classical training to create a lush tapestry of true Southern sound.

PINKY DOWN: Pinky Down is a surfer-punk jam band from Athens. Mixing together soul, surf, and groovy live saxophone with upbeat fast tempo backing beats from the early 70’s punk scene."
