For over four decades, The Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra has been one of the region’s premier big bands, uniting some of the area’s top talent—exceptional soloists, seasoned sidemen, and passionate educators, captivating audiences at concerts, festivals, and dances, and celebrating the rich tradition and thrilling evolution of jazz. For this performance, they will team up with the Northview High School Jazz Band to carry on that tradition, pass the torch and inspire the upcoming generation of jazz enthusiasts.

About Tuesday Evening Music Club:
Quickly becoming the summer’s best family entertainment value, Tuesday Evening Music Club brings talented local and regional musicians and cultural organizations to the Frederik Meijer Gardens Amphitheater stage on Tuesday evenings in June, July, and August! Tickets are free for members and included with general admission for nonmembers.
Tickets are available on performance day at the Daniel and Pamella DeVos Ticketing Center in the Meijer Gardens Welcome Center, starting at 9 am, and at the Frederik Meijer Gardens Amphitheater Box Office, starting at 5 pm. Tickets are good for admission to Meijer Gardens as well as that Tuesday evening’s performance.
