The Devon Secondary Schools Battle of the Bands Grand Final 2025 is at the Phoenix Arts Centre this year on 25th February. Delivered in partnership with MIDI, Devon & Torbay Music Education Hub and R&K Systems.
It is open to the public and so come along and see some of Devon's best young bands for just £8! Doors 6pm, 10pm close.

With regional heats coming up at Petroc, Kevicc Performing Arts, Uffculme School and Plympton Academy this year’s final is going to be epic!
The line up of 8 bands will be announced after the final heat at Plympton Academy on February 13th.
Winners of previous years have done some great things!! We help them get their music recorded and released for free and we help them with publishing and all aspects of getting their music on Spotify and being heard and seen. Also for no fee!
The Upper Hand, who won the 2023 contest have played with Barefoot Bandit, Mad Dog McCrea, Sidmouth Folk Festival and at the Dublin Castle in Camden. Their Debut single “Mistakes”, which we recorded and had mixed by Lawrence Chaplin has already clocked up nearly 3,000 streams since it was released on 22nd November last year. Absent Minds, runners up from the 2024 contest have had a song recorded, mixed and mastered by us and will be released to the world in the next few months. They are also using our tried and tested release plan. Find out more here; https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555576347223
We’ve helped runners up Project Vanity record their debut single, which is due for release in June. We’ve also helped them with a release plan, covering publishing, promotion and which gives them a template to build on for future releases. And we recorded runners up Leonard & The Zombies; first EP, which has gained 15,000 streams. As runners up in 2024, we also recorded their 2nd 4 track ep.
