Join us on Saturday, December 7, for an unforgettable evening filled with joy, family fun, and holiday spirit:
🎄 The Annual Tree Lighting Celebration! Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. following the Santa Parade with:
🎭 Appearances by Whoville characters, Griff from the Grand Rapids Griffins, and Buckets from the Grand Rapids Gold.
📸 Photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus and inside a snow globe!
🎶 Live music from the Salvation Army Brass Band.
⛸️ Ice skating performances by the Greater Grand Rapids Figure Skating Club.
🍪 Warm up with free treats like hot cocoa, Kilwins chocolates, cookies, and seasonal ice cream sandwiches.
🎄 At 6:45 PM, join us as we light up our nearly 40-ft. Christmas tree, locally harvested from Grand Rapids’ own Indian Trails Golf Course.
🎽 Don’t miss the Jingle Bell Fun Run & Walk (powered by Gazelle Sports) right after the tree lighting—a festive, untimed 3-mile route through downtown’s sparkling holiday lights.
