The Goodsyard Run Club: Summer Solstice Run

Join us in our series of monthly themed runs from The Goodsyard in Birminghams Jewellery Quarter, hosted by Run of a Kind.
We’ll start with a warm-up in The Goodsyard courtyard before heading out on a special run to celebrate the Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year, a tradition celebrated for centuries with festivals, fire, and folklore.
As we run along the canal to Edgbaston Reservoir in the sunshine, we’ll soak up the magic of midsummer, soundtracked by a chilled Ibiza vibe playlist from our speaker backpack.
At the Reservoir, you'll have the option to extend the route to 7.5km by doing a lap of the resi.
Alternatively, stick to 5km and stretch or do some fitness challenges while the rest of the group run a lap.
Then we'll all run back to the Jewellery Quarter together.
Finish with a cool-down back at The Goodsyard, then stick around to enjoy the long summer day with good company.
