The Good Clothes Show

The Good Clothes Show a brand-new three-day fashion event taking over the NEC Birmingham 20th to 22nd September 2024.

Presenting fresh alternative ways to enjoy shopping for and engaging with fashion the Good Clothes Show will bring together the ultimate curation of pre-loved + vintage responsibly motivated independent labels customisers menders makers and sustainability pioneers - all under one roof.

Hosts and speakers include Saville Row tailor and Community Clothing founder Patrick Grant All Saints Founder Stuart Trevor leading figures in sustainable fashion Patrick Duffy and Carry Somers host of the 2m downloaded podcast the wardrobe crisis  Clare Press former Sunday Times STYLE Editor Tiffanie Darke President of the British School of Fashion and owner of sustainable swim brand Harti Tessa Hartmann CBE with others soon to be announced. 

The dynamic mix of vendors will inspire visitors with new ways of thinking about fashion; meet the upcyclers on hand to demonstrate how to upgrade or revitalise what you already own; unearth one-off gems sourced by some of the UK’s best vintage and preloved sellers; and discover how designers are giving life to ‘new’ collections with deeper consideration around their impact on the planet through mindful material choices innovative production techniques and care for the people involved in their creation.

Through stimulating panel discussions and workshops with respected thought leaders and industry experts The Good Clothes Show looks beyond the ‘take - make - waste’ linear model that dominates the mainstream fashion industry. Visitors to the show unfamiliar with the concept of circularity will come away with a new vocabulary and a different perspective on what ‘good’ can look like while still enjoying the creativity and buzz that being immersed in the maelstrom that fashion provides.
