On July 31, The Golden Rule party returns with its third edition, and Kingston-based DJs Nicer Days and Carly Flower are joining forces for a very special b2b!
Nicer Days spins dance music from across the electronic spectrum, seamlessly incorporating his own edits and remixes with some of the best house, UK garage, and techno bangers from past and present. His DJ sets have garnered local acclaim for the inspired thread that they weave through dance music’s storied and diverse history. An accomplished producer and songwriter as well, his music has seen airplay on radio stations including WGXC 90.7-FM.
Carly Flower creates dance floors where dance floors do not exist. She transforms places like basements, caves, and forests into pulsing paradises that are there one night and gone the next. As a DJ with collegiate musical training, Carly’s sets are sonically satisfying and tastefully curated, allowing dancers to put their trust in the music and their thoughts out the window. Blending house, pop, Latin, and Afro rhythms, Carly loves melody and percussion and chooses tracks that move hips without anyone telling them to do so.
