The Golden Ghoul 2024Warhammer Aberdeen: Saturday October 26th
The Pumpkin is reborn and returns to Warhammer Aberdeen once again this year and will be held in store whilst celebrating Halloween in style with an event on Saturday the 26th October.
This years event will be a part of something new where we will have a number of hobby activities available along side the newly reborn Golden Ghoul.
So what are the rules for this years painting event?
This year the event will be held on Saturday the 26th of October and will be for all our customers to come along and take part in.
This year we have split the event into two categories, STANDARD and MASTERS. For those who have yet to win a Golden Pumpkin or Golden Troll or have THREE or less trophies you may enter the public voted STANDARD category. If you have FOUR or more trophies you MUST enter the MASTERS category. Both STANDARD and MASTERS Categories are the same so entrants must decide which they are entering but must put ALL entries into one or the other. The exception to this is the Challenge Category, which anyone can enter.

• Best Warhammer 40,000 Unit
• Best Warhammer 40,000 Vehicle
• Best Warhammer 40,000 Large Model
• Best Warhammer 40,000 Titanic
• Best Age of Sigmar Single Model
• Best Age of Sigmar Unit
• Best Age of Sigmar Large Model
• Best Middle Earth
• Best Duel
• Horus Heresy
• K*ll Team
• Warcry
• Underworlds
• Best Of The Rest (this will include Legion Imperialis, Necromunda, Blood Bowl, Old World etc).
• The Golden Pumpkin Challenge Model (ask staff for more details. This category can be entered by all participants).
Additional Category:
• Youngbloods: Single Model, Unit and Large Model are all available as part of the Standard open vote category.
Additionally at this years Golden Pumpkin we will also be running this years Armies on
Parade Event. Full details for this will come as a separate event soon.
Entries for this event can be handed in from Monday the 21st of October but must be in by closing time Friday the 25th October. The event on the Saturday will begin at 11am and voting will start then. Entries may not be handed in on the day as we will have a new voting system in place for this event and all entries MUST be handed in by the Friday before the event.
