The Glide Fort ScottSynthetic Ice Skating Rink on the Bricks in Downtown Fort Scott
Located at the north end of Main Street under the Gathering Square Pavilion - In front of the Fort Scott National Historic Site, 1 Old Fort Blvd.
Open now through mid- to late January (closing date will depend on weather conditions and attendance):
Open Days/Hours*:
Thursdays 4-9pm
Fridays 4-9pm
Saturdays 12-9pm
Sundays 12-4pm
The rink will also be open Wed., 12/31, from 4-9pm for New Year's Eve!
*If there is extreme cold or notably low attendance the rink may close early, follow the Facebook page The Glide Fort Scott for updates!
$5 per skater ~ Cashless admission preferred, all cards accepted.
Includes skate rental.
A limited number of skate helper devices are available for those needing assistance.
Liability waiver will be signed upon check in.
Hot chocolate and candy bars are also available for purchase this year!
NEW THIS YEAR: Enjoy the Hay Climb Slides located at the rink, a new attraction to enjoy in addition to skating. The last day for the Hay Climb Slides will be Sunday, January 4th.
