The Glam Vamps Present: Neon Playground Burlesque!

The Glam Vamps are presenting "Neon Playground" on Friday, February 3 at Glad Day Bookshop from 8 to 10pm. The show will feature several vibrantly colorful, sexy, and interactive performances by burlesque dancers from the Buffalo, NY region including The Glam Vamps' own SugaTush, Kerry Fey, Juicy Lucy, Lady The Tramp, Ruby Riot, Ana Galactic, and Sweet Tooth, along with guest performers Baephomet, Honey Jazel, and Disco Nap! The show will be hosted by the hilarious Buffalo comedian Shannon Dawn!

The Glam Vamps are a Buffalo-based burlesque troupe formed by SugaTush in 2018. Their diverse cast includes SugaTush, Lady The Tramp, Kerry Fey, Juicy Lucy, Ana Galactic, Ruby Riot, Sweet Tooth, and their host Shannon Dawn. They have experimented with various types of burlesque including classic burlesque, Neo-burlesque, gorelesque, and are eager to explore others. They are constantly evolving as a troupe and incorporate various dance styles into their burlesque, such as hip hop, jazz, musical theater, ballet, etc. As a troupe they hope to create a community where all performers, no matter what your background or where you come from, have a chance to showcase their talents and artistry. During the pandemic they also aired their virtual show “Nude World Order” on Patreon at Patreon.com/theglamvamps. Several local Buffalo artists of all kinds (dancers, musicians, drag performers, poets, etc.) and performers nationwide as well as international have been featured on the show in addition to the regular troupe members. Occasionally they will still produce virtual shows and they also post all of their live shows for people to view on their Patreon. Some of the organizations we’ve donated to in the past include Fund Texas Choice (abortion rights and access), the GlobalGiving Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, and the Red Party of Buffalo (access to feminine hygiene products).
