About this Event

Join author Anthony Q. Roberts in a special workshop based on his prodigious resource, The Notorious Gig : A Creative Guide to Getting in Good as a Freelancer; and dive into some conversation on how you can get in as well.

This event will take place IN PERSON at the Morningside Heights Library in the level C community room. Join the Morningside Heights Library in discussion with author and library advocate Anthony Q. Roberts to learn how to be your own business and be successful at it. This program is open to teens of all ages. A workshop for adults will be hosted the same day from 1:00-2:30pm.

Anthony Q. Roberts is a Creative Director, author and speaker with a 15+ year career. More than 10 of those years were exclusively as a freelance journalist and creative.

As a Creative Director and writer, he’s crafted work for brands including Nike, Facebook, ESPN, Google, adidas, Gatorade, Sony and many more.

As a journalist, his bylines have appeared in numerous publications including Esquire, Billboard, VIBE, The Chicago Sun-Times, MTV News and XXL.
