Sunday, May22nd at Classon Playground, Brooklyn we're having a SKATE & DANCE day party!SUNDAY, May 22nd we're having a ROLLER SKATE & DANCE day party at Classon Playground (Classon Av & Kent Av) in Brooklyn! & it's not going to be just a day party...it's gonna be a celebration!
Every year we kick off this beautiful travelling musical gathering that is the GetOpen Sessions Park Tour from where it all started; Brooklyn. Sadly, we haven't been able to gather since 2019 and it's been tough. We consider ourselves blessed to be able to throw down in multiple cities, in open air & all inclusive venues but there's no place like home. So to celebrate our return, we wanted to do something special.
Bring your skates AND dance shoes. Dress funky & colorful like the souls you are and vibe to eclectic excursions into Soul, Afro, Funky House sonics, beats & vibrations served up by Deep Just, Hassan Shabazz, Ian Rock & Serge Negri!
Our mission is to secure the longevity or our scene by bringing its love out of the dark halls we miss so much, to where ALL can have access & express. We're looking forward to firing up the engines again in the city where it all started...in the center of the musical universe...

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
The health and safety of our guests, performers and team is paramount. We are committed to doing our best to help keep everyone safe. Please see our COVID-19 protocols below.
Proof of vaccination or testing will not be required to attend or take part in the activities however, we highly encourage anyone who is exhibiting any symptoms or has been exposed to anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or exhibiting symptoms within seven (7) days of the event to please stay home.
Classon Playground has ample space for those in attendance to safely social distance and still enjoy the festivities. We've taken great care to make sure that the music will reach you so please respect the comfort zones of other guests that are not in your party so everyone can feel comfortable and secure.
Though not mandatory, we encourage everyone to bring and wear your masks, especially when moving within larger groups (like the dance floor) while at the event. A limited supply of masks will be available on site. We will also have a limited supply of hand sanitizer & wipes available but we suggest packing your own to ensure you have what you need.
