The Gathering Sessions: Harvest Floral Pumpkinswith Alison Hoekstra of Taste Poetic
In this autumnal, hands-on workshop, we’ll celebrate the changing season by pairing the sculptural simplicity of pumpkins with the delicate beauty of dried blooms.
Using an array of preserved flowers, pods, and seasonal stems, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind dried floral pumpkin, an earthy, textural centerpiece that captures the quiet poetry of Fall. Each composition is intuitively built, encouraging you to follow your instinct and embrace the wild charm of nature’s shapes and tones.
No carving required, just a meditative practice in layering, arranging, and honoring what’s fleeting.
Workshops are held at communal tables, offering a welcoming, shared creative space to gather, create, and connect.
Event cost is $25+tax. All materials are included.
Three sessions to choose from: 1 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM, each workshop runs 45 minutes. Kindly arrive 15 minutes before your registered time for check-in.
