Είμαστε στην ευχάριστη θέση να σας ανακοινώσουμε το πρώτο φεστιβάλ του THE GALLERY, το οποίο θα πραγματοποιηθεί το Σάββατο, 5 Απριλίου 2025 στη Θεσσαλονίκη!
AMKEN, DEVISER, NIGHT IN GALES και ON THORNS I LAY είναι η τετράδα-φωτιά που θα εμφανιστεί στη σκηνή του Eightball Club (Πίνδου 1, Λαδάδικα)!
Θα ακολουθήσει το THE GALLERY after party στον επάνω όροφο του Eightball Club.
Στα decks θα βρίσκονται οι Σίφης "Wizard" Κωνσταντινίδης και Αλέξανδρος Σουλτάτος σε Back 2 Back Metal μουσικές!

Λίγα λόγια για τα συγκροτήματα, κατά σειρά εμφάνισής τους στο φεστιβάλ:
AMKEN (GR)
Οι Αθηναίοι AMKEN συνδυάζουν τεχνικό/Old-School Thrash Metal με σύγχρονο ήχο, κρατώντας ζωντανές τις ρίζες του είδους. Με έντονη συναυλιακή δραστηριότητα σε Ελλάδα, Ευρώπη και Ιαπωνία, έχουν μοιραστεί τη σκηνή με θρυλικές μπάντες όπως SODOM, DESTRUCTION, FLOTSAM & JETSAM και GORGOROTH. Δισκογραφικά μετρούν δυο ολοκληρωμένα άλμπουμ, ένα EP και ένα split, με την πιο πρόσφατη δουλειά τους να αποτελεί το πολύ δυνατό «Passive Aggression» άλμπουμ του 2022.
DEVISER (GR)
Οι DEVISER ιδρύθηκαν το 1989, έχοντας ρίζες στο καθαρόαιμο Black Metal. Με τη προσθήκη μελών από τους AGATUS και τους RIRANHA το 1992, κέντρισαν το ενδιαφέρον της underground σκηνής. Το πρώτο τους EP «The Revelation of Higher Mysteries» κυκλοφόρησε το 1994, και συνοδεύτηκε μια μικρή ευρωπαϊκή περιοδεία την ίδια χρονιά. Το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους «Unspeakable Cults» (1996) έκανε αίσθηση στους φίλους του μελωδικού Black Metal, λαμβάνοντας εξαιρετικές κριτικές διεθνώς. Μετά από ακόμη τρεις ολοκληρωμένες δουλειές και μια παύση το 2011, οι DEVISER επανήλθαν στο προσκήνιο το 2017 με το EP «Howling Flames» και το πέμπτο τους άλμπουμ «Evil Summons Evil» που κυκλοφόρησε το 2023, μέσω της Hammerheart Records.
NIGHT IN GALES (GER)
Οι NIGHT IN GALES αποτελούν μια από τις σημαντικότερες μπάντες μελωδικού Death Metal της Γερμανίας. Δισκογραφικά ξεκίνησαν το 1995 με το επιτυχημένο EP «Sylphlike». Το φοβερό ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ «Towards The Twilight» κυκλοφόρησε το 1997 από τη Nuclear Blast Records ενώ το συγκρότημα περιόδευσε με μπάντες όπως οι IN FLAMES, HYPOCRISY, CHILDREN OF BODOM, SINISTER και DEATH, πριν κυκλοφορήσει το δεύτερο άλμπουμ του «Thunderbeast» το 1998, ξανά μέσω της Nuclear Blast. Ακολούθησε εκ νέου περιοδεία με τους DISMEMBER και CHILDREN OF BODOM, λαμβάνοντας μέρος σε μεγάλα Ευρωπαϊκά φεστιβάλ όπως τα Wacken Open Air και Summer Breeze. Συνολικά, έχουν εννέα άλμπουμ στο ενεργητικό τους, με τη συμβολή κορυφαίων παραγωγών του είδους, όπως οι Dan Swano και Fredrik Nordstrom. Το πιο πρόσφατο και έννατο συνολικά άλμπουμ τους ονομάζεται «Shadowreaper» και κυκλοφόρησε στις 6 Δεκεμβρίου 2024, μέσω της Apostasy Records. Μετά από τριάντα χρόνια καριέρας, είναι η πρώτη φορά που επισκέπτονται την Ελλάδα για συναυλίες.
ON THORNS I LAY (GR)
Οι ON THORNS I LAY αποτελούν μία από τις σημαντικότερες Doom/Death Metal μπάντες της Ελλάδας, έχοντας κυκλοφορήσει συνολικά δέκα ολοκληρωμένα άλμπουμ. Κορυφαίες δισκογραφικές τους στιγμές το πρωτοποριακό άλμπουμ «Orama» του 1997, το best seller «Crystal Tears» του 1999. αλλά και τα πιο πρόσφατα «Aegean Sorrow», «Threnos» και «On Thorns I Lay», με τα οποία το συγκρότημα εισήλθε (δικαιωματικά) στα μεγάλα σαλόνια του ακραίου ήχου. Έχοντας μοιραστεί στο παρελθόν τη σκηνή με μεγάλα ονόματα όπως οι ROTTING CHRIST, DREAM THEATER, IN FLAMES, SATYRICON και SEPTIC FLESH, πλέον ανήκουν στις τάξεις της Season of Mist. Σε αυτή τη φάση βρίσκονται στις ηχογραφήσεις του νέου τους άλμπουμ, το οποίο αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει μέσα στους επόμενους μήνες.

A few words about the bands, in the order of their appearance at the festival:
AMKEN (GR)
The Athens-based AMKEN blend technical old-school Thrash Metal with a modern sound, keeping the roots of the genre alive. With a strong live presence across Greece, Europe, and Japan, they have shared the stage with legendary bands such as SODOM, DESTRUCTION, FLOTSAM & JETSAM, and GORGOROTH. Discographically, they boast two full-length albums, an EP, and a split, with their most recent work being the powerful 2022 album “Passive Aggression”.
DEVISER (GR)
DEVISER was created in 1989, with roots in pure Black Metal. In 1992, with the addition of members from AGATUS and RIRANHA, they sparked the interest of the underground scene. Their first EP, *The Revelation of Higher Mysteries*, was released in 1994 and was accompanied by a short European tour that same year. Their debut album, *Unspeakable Cults* (1996), made a strong impact on melodic Black Metal enthusiasts, receiving outstanding reviews internationally. After three more full-length releases and a hiatus in 2011, DEVISER returned to the spotlight in 2017 with the EP *Howling Flames* and their fifth album, *Evil Summons Evil*, which was released in 2023 through Hammerheart Records.
NIGHT IN GALES (GER)
NIGHT IN GALES is one of Germany’s most important melodic Death Metal bands. Their discography began in 1995 with the successful EP “Sylphlike”. Their brilliant debut album “Towards The Twilight” was released in 1997 via Nuclear Blast Records, after which the band toured with acts such as IN FLAMES, HYPOCRISY, CHILDREN OF BODOM, SINISTER, and DEATH. This was followed by the release of their second album “Thunderbeast” in 1998, once again through Nuclear Blast. They then embarked on another tour with DISMEMBER and CHILDREN OF BODOM, performing at some major European festivals like Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze. Over the years, they have released a total of nine albums, with contributions from some of the genre’s finest producers, including Dan Swano and Fredrik Nordstrom. Their most recent and ninth studio album, “Shadowreaper”, was released on December 6th, 2024, through Apostasy Records. After a thirty-year career, this will be their first time performing in Greece.
ON THORNS I LAY (GR)
ON THORNS I LAY is one of Greece’s most significant Doom/Death Metal bands, having released a total of ten full-length albums. Key moments in their discography include the groundbreaking Orama (1997), the best-selling Crystal Tears (1999), and their more recent works “Aegean Sorrow”, “Threnos”, and “On Thorns I Lay”, through which the band rightfully earned their place among the elite of Extreme music. Having previously shared the stage with major names such as ROTTING CHRIST, DREAM THEATER, IN FLAMES, SATYRICON, and SEPTIC FLESH, they are now part of Season of Mist’s roster. Currently, the band is in the process of recording its new album, which is expected to be released in the coming months.
