THE FUTURE WE CHOOSE is a special community gathering at the Minnesota State Capitol Rotunda created to bring people together across cultures, backgrounds, generations, and communities.
Come ready to celebrate unity, meet extraordinary people, make new connections, and simply have a great time together.
The event takes place Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Registration is required. Space is limited, and we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Security check-in is required. All guests must enter through the main public entrance located under the front stairs and go through the Capitol security screening before entering. Please allow extra time for check-in.
Plan your parking in advance. Parking is not included, so allow enough time to park, walk to the Capitol, and complete security before the event begins.
No food will be provided. Please eat beforehand and come prepared for the two-hour gathering.
Children are welcome. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children throughout the entire event.
The gathering will take place in the Rotunda.
Most importantly, come ready to enjoy yourself. Meet someone you would never have met otherwise. Learn about another culture.
