Join us for an interactive workshop exploring how software development is transforming in real time. We’ll walk through five stages in the evolution of AI-supported software development:
- Vibe coding – you describe a wish, it gets built.
- AI-assisted coding – you write the code, AI completes it.
- Spec-driven development – you write the spec, the agent writes the code.
- Agent orchestration – you approve a plan, agents run the whole project cycle.
- AI software factory – you file a request, the system builds and maintains it.
Beyond that is the dark factory, with no human involvement at all.We’ll also look at how this shift is changing the way developers work together. As AI takes on more of the development work, teams can become smaller. Putting two people on the same problem can sometimes take longer than having one person work on it alone, as the coordination can outweigh the benefit of having a second person involved.The session will begin with a presentation, followed by small-group discussions and an open conversation. Whether you’re a developer, tech manager, or founder, this is a chance to share your experience, challenge assumptions, and discuss where this is heading. Expect an open conversation, not a lecture.
